Yingkiong, Jan 18: The District Child Protection Unit (DCPU), Upper Siang, conducted a comprehensive Sensitization and Awareness Programme on the Protection Of Children from Sexual Offence Act (POCSO) at the CDPO office. The event witnessed active participation from officials across various departments of the district.
Distinguished resource persons, Advocate Geni Pangkam from the District Legal Service Authority and Shri Akoying Tekseng, Legal cum Probation Officer of DCPU, addressed the gathering, shedding light on the crucial aspects of the POCSO Act.
