CHANGLANG, AUGUST 12 ; The APLA Deputy Speaker and Changlang (North) local MLA Tesam Pongte has appealed to the party workers to work for strengthening the party at grassroots level and dedicate time for the development of the area.
Pongte was addressing the party workers of Changlang Mandal office bearers and executive members meeting wherein 41 booth level committee were present. Pongte said that the party leaders have a greater responsibility to shoulder and they have to inform the general masses about several centrally and state sponsored public welfare schemes so that the general public and grassroots workers get the benefit of the welfare schemes and plans of the central and state government.
He distributed the Radio transistors to all the Polling Booth Committee President of his assembly constituency as to make them listen to the latest and update on activities world over and get in touch with the mainstream and activities and to listen to the MAAN KI BAAT of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Pongte said.
Earlier, Pongte inaugurated the extended office building of Changlang PHE&WS Division funded under SADA of financial year 2018-19 and completed in 2020 but inauguration could not take place due to Covid 19 pandemic.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Changlang ZPC Kapseng Kungkho, ZPM Mengpa Haisa, Mandal President Tupkam Kitnya, ADC Arjun Mohan, HODs and Public leaders of Changlang.
