He address the media person at Arunachal Press club on Sunday here in state capital and sought support from the people, government and court of law.

Family members feels insecure as the accused is roaming freely, therefore to provide security towards the victims accused must be arrest at the earliest, he added.

Citing that according to the POCSO Act, any trail has to be completed within one year, Samnam said, it has been 280 days but instead of fast track court trail, accused has been freed which is a threat for the victim and their families.

“After the registering of case under POCSO Act, only three month is left but there is no tangible progress can be seen,” Said Samnam.

Appealing the community leaders and CBOs should help the victim’s family by not protecting the accused in the case, BRBWS said the criminal has no colour, religion and caste, rather their place is the jail only.
