ITANAGAR, Apr 7 : The Sports & Youth Affairs Minister Mama Natung has launched the jersey for upcoming Sansad Khel Spardha which will be held at RGU campus in Doimukh circle form April 15 onwards. More than 3500 players are expecting to attend the three layers of games and sports.
The three days sporting events will be held in RGU Campus, Doimukh whiel the accommodation and other required facilities for athletic and players are beign arranged by the AOA and committees headed by senior members.
The jersey launching ceremony was held at Itanagar in presence of SAA Vice Chairman Tana Sanjiv Tara, AOA Secretary Bamang Tago, senior officers of sports department and SAA including Director Gumya Karbak and Tadar Apa. Other officials including Kamla LIngi, Bulang Marik, Teli Kehi, Likha Robin, Tai Hipik and others were present.
The event will be inaugurated by Union Minister Law & Justice and Arunachal West MP Kiren Rijiju.
Four crore has been approved under Budget estimate (BE) for the purpose. Informed Minster SA Mama Natung while speaking to media.
As per information the union minister has also approved and sanction some amount of the purpose.
