Locals appeal district administration and state government to reconstruct a new welcome gate at Hollongi

ITANAGAR, The local people and commuters of Hollongi area has appeal the Papum Pare district administration and state government to immediately take necessary action to dismantle the welcome gate located on NH-415 near Rajghar road near Hollongi police check post in Papum Pare district as the gate is posing serious threat for the commuters.

The former ANYA President and a Hollongi native Yowa Bullet inform the newsperson that recently a huge container has hit the gate and few vehicle loaded in the container were severely damage. After that also several such incident has happened and in past also the vehicle with height has hit the gate and the gate has been hit on several occasion. 

One side of the pillar has been badly damaged due to hit by vehicles on several occasions and it is suspected that one pillar out of three is bending  and seems a source of danger for the commuter and accident may takes place at any pint of time. he said.

Due to emergence of technology several automobile company are making huge vehicle and in course of time also the height of road might have also raised which led to hit the vehicle to the welcome gate. Immediate attention of the administration and government is sought for its restoration or the state government should immediately order for its dismantle and approved for reconstruction as a safety measures.  Bullet added. 

Meanwhile, Hollongi Police outpost Incharge SI, M Hussain inform that we are creating awareness among the locals and commuters to remain alert. The trucks, bus, tanker and containers are also informed while going out of capital but in case of entry it is not possible to keep someone nearby the welcome gate to monitor round the clock.
