ITANAGAR, AUG 28 : The Capital Complex Deputy Commissioner Talo Potom has urged upon the denizens of twin capital city of Itanagar and Naharlagun township to help, cooperate and extend support in opening of fuel station (Petrol Pump) round the clock (24×7).
Speaking to media, Potom said that like hospital, pharmacy and other essential commodities the fuel is also counted in essential commodities by which the vehicle can ply so the fuel is also required for the denizens round the clock. May due to various reasons and circumstances the fuel station could not continue to open round the clock and closed down their shutter in evening like other shops and business establishment in capital city which need to be changed slowly. Potom said.
The capital administration in an initiatives to make the fuel station even during night hours and in day ie. Round the clock (24×7). “ I was planning for it since long, We have discussed the issue with the Capital complex petrol depot association and other organization on several occasion including the owners and also those who are running the outlet. We have a long meeting with the owners and person running the outlet with civil supply department and we unitedly has taken a decision to start petrol pump in night hours and round the clock. We have chosen the two oldest fuel station one at Itanagar MS Capital Auto at C Sector near Bank Tinali while another MS Rajdhani Auto at A Sector in Naharlagun will remain open 24X7 from Sept 1. Potom said.
There are several occasion where someone are in need of fuel to go to other district and other station and other parts of country but due to closure of fuel station there was been great difficulty so it was made necessary and my dream that petrol pump to open round the clock. He said.
My staffs will come to both station after normal hours and we have also trained few staffs to help consumers/customers in delivery of fuel. he however warned those who create problem and law and order at the respective fuel station to face legal action if found guilty. Potom added.
If the plan get successful we may try for other fuel station and other mode of services. Potom further said.
