Naharlagun, March 24: Capital Police Team arrests drug peddler Suraj Das and from his possession seized 80.20 grams heroin. Informed capital SP.
Naharlagun Sub Division team led by DySP Dekio Gumja, OC Naharlagun Inspector Khiksi Yangfo, i/c OC Banderdewa Inspector Minli Geyi, SI S.S Jha, H/CT Toko Abu, CT Lucky Tacho, CT Kanto Samyor, CT Sandeep Yadav, CT Lham Tashi, L/CT Yani Sikom, CT C. Miling and CT Gaju Rai had today at 2140 hours after setting down a trap arrested a drug peddler while he came to sell heroin near Hotel Dikrong at Banderdewa.
The said drug peddler identified as Suraj Das S/O- Khushi Das (LT) is a habitual offender who was arrested previously in c/w NLG PS Case No-73/21 u/s 21(b) NDPS Act in the month of May’2021 and the case is presently pending trial. The SP informed.
