The Universal Brotherhood Day which marks the commemoration of Swami Vivekananda’s famous speech delivered on September 11, 1893 in Chicago to the delegates of the World Parliament of Religions and since then the day is being celebrated on every September 11.
The day-long celebration which includes lighting of lamps by guests, speech by teaching faculty and guest on the life of Swami Vivekananda and his speech at Chicago in World Parliament of Religions. The importance of the day was discussed, group song and group dances were performed by the senior students on the occasion.
Bagtotsi Kri, Lily Tayeng, Geyir Potom attended the function as chief guest, guest of honour and special guest.
The Principal Balaji N Waghmare, senior faculty Moolchand Sharma, Dibyajyoti Saikea among others also address the function.
