Hollongi July 07: The Papum Pare district police has arrested two person in connection with illegal earth cutting from nearby the Hollongi airport in Hollongi area of Balijan circle of the district.
A press release issued by Balijan ADC Taso Gambo inform that two persons have been arrested by Balijan Police for illegal earth cutting at Chimpu-Hollongi 4 lane road on 7/7/2022 for violation of District Magistrate Yupia order No.DM/PP/-6875/2012 Dtd. Yupia the 29th April 2022 which has issued a prohibitory order for all kind of earth cutting within private or Govt. allotted land.
The arrested persons has been identified as Md. Makter Ali s/o Md Josumuduin Ali Wge 34 years and Gangaram Biswakarma S/O. Ananta Biswakarma age 22 years were booked under section 188 IPC as informed by IO of this case. Said ADC.
They shall be dealt further as per the provisions of the law. The ADC said.
Any types of earth cutting by any government or private individual or organisation need prior approval and permission from the concern authority and the land owners has to abide by several guidelines for disposal of debris, obstruction of traffic and maintenance of rainwater and drainage system which is mandatory and without any guidelines and approval from the administration will have to face legal action. ADC added.
He further said that all concerned are again advised to not indulge in such activities in future to face legal action.
It is to mention that most of the disaster occurred in the capital complex are unlikely manmade and due to which several infrastructure has been damaged and witness several loss of life and property in the capital complex in capital complex and Balijan circele.
