Naharlagun, Feb 24: Tumi Gangkak, Under Secretary APPSC, was found dead at Poma in mysterious circumstances.
Under Secretary-APPSC Tumi Gangkak was found dead hanging today on way to Poma village. Tumi was under suspension for the recent APPSC fiasco.
His Dead body was found hanging on a tree in the Poma area on Friday afternoon.
Information received from capital police sources they have reached the spot and investigation is on.
His last message at 4:58 pm in a WhatsApp group; “My dear esteemed members, I have never been involved in APPSC paper leakage. I am innocent but I am being targeted as was the Asstt Controller of Examinations.”
As per source the CBI at around 3.30 pm yesterday had summoned him to come to office. Mr. Gangkak left his house at 4.30 pm. And thereafter his mobile phone went switched off.
Family members searched for him today and found his body hanging on a tree by the roadside in the Poma area.
