NAMSAI, SEPT 22 : Several union ministers are visiting Arunachal Pradesh to attend several government and other programs of development. Three union ministers are visiting the state capital while two are visiting Namsai and Lohit district accordingly.
The sources from state government inform that union minister for Jal Skahti Gajendra Singh Sekhawat and his team of senior officer water resource department will inaugurate “ integrated drinking water project for Chongkham and enroute habitation amounting to Rs. 32.49 crore and dedication of 303 schemes implemented under Jal Jeevan mission (JJM) programme across the state and dedication of Chongkham block with saturation of har ghar jal under JJM” at Maruah in Choukham area of Namsai district. Minister PHED Wangki Lowang and his team from the PHED department is also attending the function in presence of CM, Dy CM and host of lawmakers and senior officers of state government.
As per information available from the Tourism Department said that the Union Minister for Tourism & DoNER G Kishan Reddy is visiting the Lohit district on Sept 23rd (Thursday) with his team of senior officers from ministry of tourism, government of India. The union minister will take part in bhoomi pujan of the Parshuram Kund pilgrimage site at Tezu. He will also laid the foundation stone of the renovation and development infrastructure scheme approved by the ministry of Tourism under Prasad scheme phase 1 amounting to Rs. 37 crore. Chief minister of Arunachal Pradesh Pema Khandu, Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein, Minister Transport and Tourism Nakap Nalo, Chief Secretary Naresh Kumar and host of lawmakers and senior officers of state government and district administration will attend the function.
Union Minister of state for environment & Forest & Consumer Affairs, Food & public distribution Ashwini Kumar Choubey is visiting the state on Wednesday and will attend various programmes in the state capital. As per information Choubey will visit Biological park, Itanagar early morning. The team of Union Minister and senior officers of ministry of environment & Forest and state team led by environment & Forest, WRD and S& YA Minister Mama Natung will take part in sapling plantation and interaction with forest martyrs family and some prominent sports persons of state at zoo campus who will be felicitated on the day at PCCF Office later. The minister will meet the governor Dr. B D Mishra at Raj bhawan. The minister will attend a meeting of the top and senior officers of Environed & forest and climate change at PCCF office premise and interact and take stock of the important works being undertaken by the department in state. The minister will also have a brief discussion with senior officers related to food & Civil supply and public distribution. The minister will also brief the media at the premise as per available information.
An information received from BJP ST Morcha said that a team of union minister which include Union Minister for Law & Justice and Arunachal West MP Kiren Rijiju, Union minister of state for steel and rural development, Faggan Singh Kulaste, Union Minister of state for tribal affairs Renuka Singh Saruta with BJP ST Morcha national President and MP (RS) Samir Oraon and state team led by Tribal affairs and SJETA Minister Alo Libang, state BJP President Biyuram Wahge and state ST Morcha head Hinium Tachu is expected to attend state executive meeting of ST Morcha at DK Convention Hall, Itanagar from Sept 22 to 24.
