Itanagar, Nov 16: Three more people have been arrested in connection with the APPSCCE-2017 case.
The Special Investigation Cell (Vigilance) Civil Secretariat Itanagar have informed in a release about Case Ref : SIC(VIG) PS C/No.12/2022 U/S 120(B)/420/406/409 IPC R/W Sec.7/8/13(2) PC Act, 1988 (Pertaining to APPSCCE-2017 Exam and other exams leakage matter).
The SIC informed, the case was registered at SIC (Vig) PS on 19/10/2022 on the basis of an FIR lodged by Kesto Loriak and 07 (Seven) others deprived candidates of APPSCCE-2017 examination conducted by APPSC. Complaints regarding irregularities in other exams conducted by the APPSC are also being investigated in the said case. SIC (VIG) PS after taking over the case has worked meticulously conducting detailed interrogations, searches and bringing evidence on record, and has arrested 03(three) more persons into the case.
Further the release said, the arrested persons are Taloka Darang, 59 yrs, Pvt. Individual, D/O: Lt. Tapum Darang, Vill: Komsing, PO/PS: Pangin, Dist : Siang (AP), Sri Posi Gamlin @ Gamkin, BEO, Under DDSE, Aalo, S/0 : Lt. Mipo Gamlin, Vill : Tego Gamlin, PO/PS : Yomcha, Dist : West Siang (AP), Eagle Sora, 34 yrs, S/0: Joi Sora, Vill : Kombo Jirdin, POPS- Aalo, Dist : West Siang (AP). The SIC investigation into the various exams is ongoing, and all facets of the case are being investigated in detail. All legal formalities and norms of professionalism are being maintained during the investigation.
