NAHARLAGUN, The Sunrise Arunachal Rotary club, the first rotary club of state celebrated its 1st installation ceremony and charter presentation in befitting manner in presence of several eminent personalities and social workers and general public here at Dree ground.
The district Governor (RID 3240) Dr. Mohan Shyam Konwar inaugurated the ceremony as chief guest and address the gathering. Dr. Konwar motivated the gathering to work for the upliftment of downtrodden and poor and needy people so that our mission is success and always focus such social works for the welfare of the people and should always remain ready to help the masses.
The district governor (RID 3262) Santuna kumar Pani also address the function and give brief of the charter of duty of rotary club as and advisor.
The 1st president of the Sunrise Arunachal Rotary club Rajen Nani and received his charter form chief guest. Addressing the function, Nani said that it would be our endeavour to be a part of the Rotary club to work for the needy, poor and downtrodden people.
We have already prepared our action plan and our new team will work for the welfare of people, community, society and the most is human being who are much needed and will try to reach them and provide them some help whatever we can. He said.
We have planned to work for protection and preservation of environment and forest by way of organizing plantation of various species in various parts of state, organizing of medical camp, eye camp and other health camps. Distribution of fish seedlings to fish farmers. He said.
In any case our man motto will be “ service to change live, to reach out the needy section of society in different field”. Nani added.
Earlier, the meeting paid floral tribute to Paul. P Harish (founder father of Rotary International), interaction of dignitaries, distribution of certificate to the executive members etc.
