NAHARLAGUN, MAY 12 : The people of capital complex are very cooperative in nature and supporting the administration in full containment (Lockdown) to fight against the spread of Coronavirus (Covid-19) in capital complex and they should continue with full support in the battle against the deadly virus. Informed Capital Deputy Commissioner Talo Potom.
Almost all the government and private institutions are close except few which are excepted, shops and business establishment and educational institutor are close and most of the people are remain indoor except few those who are seen are on medical and emergency duty, Several government employees has been deployed for essential duty and also Covid management duty and have been deployed in various parts of capital complex which include Vaccination centre, Covid testing centers, checkgates, cheknakas, CCC, DCH, DCHC, RRT and hope they are doing well and serving the humanity with sincerity and dedication. He said. Few of them who are loitering on roads without any justified and essential purpose are being returned back or few of them are being challaned and few otherwise are also been taken into task as per violation of the act and order. He said.
One should not create panic among the people. Most of the delivery services are already in job and one can contact them and several contact numbers are given for immediate needs of daily use. Potom said.
With regard to the delivery of gas cylinders, Potom said that direction has been given to all the gas agencies and as per information they are doing their delivery services according to their routine but I have requested them to change the system so that no consumers went around the road to get cylinders from the agency or dealer. Potom said.
We are passing through very ciritial time and it the time to understand each other and also learn to know the Covid behavior and obey the guidelines and obey the order issued by government, health department, district administration which are issued for the welfare of the people and to provide better health services in fight against the Covid 19 pandemic.
DC further appeals to all sections of society to remain indoors until there is any medical emergency or otherwise they should cooperate with the administration and frontline workers in the fight against the Coronavirus.
