ITANAGAR, APRIL 4 ; The alleged accused in connection with Daporijo police station case no-12/2022 has already been arrested and sent to judicial custody. Said Upper Subansiri district SP M A Rizvi.
SP Rizvi said that the process of investigation is smoothly going on and alleged accused Marmo Maro who was running a restaurant at New Market in the district headquarter have some personal issue with regards to money transaction has been arrested and sent to judicial custody.
Referring to detail of the case, alleged accused was running a restaurant and want some personnel for his restaurant and ask the decease who was working at a Car wash to support him and had money transaction but the accused contact in Assam could not arrange the personnel inspite of several attempt and search in time and after passing of some time, there were alteration and misunderstanding among both the decease and accuse, resulted in the scuffle and the victim received multiple injury and succumb to his injury and died. he said.
Earlier a case no 12/2022 of 307 IPC was registered but after death of the victim it was converted to 302 IPC and the accused has been sent to judicial custody. He said.
The father of the deceased Raju Nayak who arrived at Daporijo from Morang, Dibrugarh, Assam on Sunday was briefed of the case and investigation. After conducting post mortem and legal formalities the body has been handed over for conducting the last rite. SP added.
The police is doing its work and all the formalities in the proper way in this case. The rumor circulating in the whatsApp group is nothing and the Daporijo police led by its Inspector Token Dubi Basar, OC PS, Daporijo is supervising and being monitored by himself. Added. SP Rizvi
