Tedir inaugurated Rang-Frah Government College permanent building campus at Longbusung, Changlang

CHANGLANG, APRIL 19 ; The newly constructed building campus of the educational block of Rang-Frah government college has been inaugurated by Minister Education and Department of Indigenous Affairs Taba Tedir in presence of a host of dignitaries.

The newly constructed campus comprises educational block, academic block, boys hostel, staff quarter, auditorium hall and others.

Tedir attending the event as Chief guest spoke on the need for development of the Education sector and declaration of 2021 as the education development year of Pema Khandu led government. He urged upon the students community who passed out from respective school and college to pay back to your own school and college a best gift and support for the particular educational institutions. He said.

Due to Covid 19 pandemic there has been a major setback in economic development and accordingly our state has been affected but slowly we have come out after the best covid management. He said.

Due to scarcity of teaching faculty in all the district we have been trying our best to manage the stop gap and from this year we will go for a transfer posing policy so that the teaching community can adhere but the elected representative should not interfere in the transfer poling of teachers of school and college. He said.

He urged the college authority to immediately shift the academic classes so that the buildings created for the purpose are better utilized. He said.

Referring to the memorandum submitted by the students union of the college, Tedir said that a new college bus would be provided this year while assured to provide funds for water supply management and would lead a delegation team of elected legislature of Changlang district with PHED Minister to Dy. CM and CM for the required fund as per DPR. He said.

“ I will also try to manage funds for construction of the main gate, boundary wall and playground in phase manner” Tedir said. Tedir requested the local MLA Phosum Khimhun to immediately start the executing agency of the TAH road connecting the Changlang district headquarter so that the  students and teaching community of the college do not face many problems. Further urge upon the school management committee and GBs and local denizens to protect the land of the college and requested the Deputy Commissioner to immediately issue land allotment order of the college to avoid any encroachment attempt in future,

Bordumsa MLA S Mosang, Jairmpur MLA Laisam Simai, Boleng MLA Ojing Tasing, Deputy commissioner Dr. D Yadav, College principal among others also addressed the function held at the auditorium hall.

The senior officers of education department, HoDs elected PRI leaders GBs, teaching and non teaching staffs and students and General public of the area were present on the occasion
