TEZU, 13 April : Arunachal Pradesh Education, Research & Indigenous Faith Minister Taba Tedir today in his maiden visit to GHSS and said that the state is all set to witness a paradigm shift in the education sector this year.
“Chief Minister Pema Khandu has declared 2021 as the year of education and accordingly our state will witness a sea change in the sector this year,” Tedir said. He advised the student to excel better in the exam and maintain discipline & preserving infrastructure of the school. “Despite the building is built 1965 still it looks better”, he appreciates and advises the student to say no to drugs. Tedir said the state would create a strong foundation for education once the National Education Policy is implemented next year. He also lauded a School website www.ghsstezu.in after its launching. Principal Mijum Lego GHSS submitted a memorandum to the Minister.
After physically inspecting the old school building of GHSS Tezu, Tadir also inspected Tamlanagar GSS. “As promotion for up gradation of secondary School to higher secondary several reminders were submitted to Directorate of elementary education, local MLA Karikho Kri who accompanied the Minister made earnest plea for immediate upgradation due to overcrowded students at the lone GHSS Tezu.
Meanwhile, the Minister assured to provide PGT subject teachers, however he suggested the MLA to facilitate classroom to make it functional soon.
Earlier, The Minister along with MLA, Director Research, Director elementary, higher education and DC Lohit along with HoDs paid visit at District Museum where he unveiled the newly constructed building with Museum & ANNEX building and then to District Library and later to the Indra Gandhi College where he unveiled the New Science Block.
