Tadar Gungte, a sincere and dedicated government servant passed away

YUPIA, MARCH 20 : A sincere, dedicated and hardworking government servant serving as UDC in office of Deputy Commissioner Papum Pare district, Yupia passed away on Sunday at wee hours,  He was 54.

Late Tadar Gungte, a dedicated and sincere government servant loved by his colleagues and officers of the administration and was popular for his soft spoken and humble attitude and helping nature. He was also associated in several social welfare activities.

Late Tadar was born on October 10 1968 at Dolo village in Nyapin circle of Kurung Kumey district and was residing at Nyorch near Yupia in Papum Pare district. He was survived by his wife, son and three daughters. The family sources said.

The last rites will be held at Nyorch (Yupia) on Monday. Hundreds of family, friends, relatives and well-wishers and community leaders and public leaders are expected to attend the funeral.

The Tanik Development society (TDS) has condoled the demise of Late Gungte. In a condolence message, TDS General secretary Tadar Tash said that ‘ we are saddened by the sudden demise of Late Gungte. He was greatly loved by all his colleagues, friends and well-wishers for his humble and soft nature and helping attitude. The members of the society pray for the eternal peace of the departed soul in heavenly abode.” The press release added.
