Steps to mitigate shortage of teachers in Lower Subansiri district schools

Ziro, A walk-in interview was conducted here in Ziro to fill the vacancy of teachers purely on hiring faculty basis to be posted at 14 different schools in Lower Subansiri District.

It was conducted by the joint venture of the DC and the DDSE of Lower Sunansiri.

A poignant shortage of subject teachers has been felt by the concerned authorities during their visit to the different schools of the district.

In these categorised schools, there are no subject teachers of Maths and Science. These schools have to face an awkward situation in finishing the course especially in science and mathematics in absence of teachers.

There has been a dire need of posting of the required teachers. The DC, Lower Sunansiri Somcha Lowang along with the DDSE Tabia Chobin chalked out a plan to mitigate this persistent shortage of teachers by conducting a Walk-in- Interview under the Chief Minister Samast Shiksha Yozana (CMSSY) on December 22 last.

To find out an immediate solution, 14 numbers of teachers have been recruited for four months to alleviate the problems faced by the suffering students.

While delivering engagement letters to the newly engaged 14 numbers of teachers, the DDSE Lower Sunansiri urged them to fully dedicate themselves to the welfare of the students wherever they are going to serve. Moreover, he divulged his inner joy over their new assignments and wanted them to treat their assignments as a new year gift.

He wished them to be punctual, sincere and dedicated to their duty places where their duty lies in making brilliant careers for the students.

This corrective step has been taken at the time when the half of the session has elapsed and now in order to avert the further course of trouble, it is a hilarious and laudable approach by both DC and DDSE Lower Subansiri.
