SP Capital appeals to maintain the rule of law to remain safe and secure from the Covid infection

ITANAGAR, MAY 17 : The Capital SP Jimmy Chiram has appealed to all sections of society and denizens of the capital complex to maintain rule of law to remain safe and secure from infection of Covid 19.

The permission of vehicles given to several needy people and if found misuse the permission will be removed/revoked and legal action also be taken against those officers and officials and informed that direction has been given to officers to check such misuse by other than needy people and people working for essential and medical duty.

More than 800 police personnels are on duty and more than 300 police personnel and officials are being deployed at a time at 29 check nakas and three checkgates. The police personnels with officers and supported by CRPF. Traffic warden and others on the road are carrying out their works to check traffic and violation of containment order and curfew order and at the same time these police officers and personnels has been directed to assist and help the needy people who are dire need of emergency services related to health care and also in Covid management. SP said.

Due to some confusion among the general public there was un residente crowded which moved on the streets and markets area and also other parts of capital complex is a matter of serious concern and in such way we cannot unlink the chain of infection of Coronavirus among the citizens and urge upon all to support and cooperate the capital administration, capital police, health department in containing the arise of Coronavirus among the citizens and keep away form the pandemic. SP furthers said.

SP further appeals to all not to venture in the street unless there is any emergency till May 31st.
