SAM allege violation of recruitment rule for recruitment of various staffs in Raj bhawan, demanded termination of illegal appointments 

ITANAGAR, NOV 21 ; The Save Arunachal Movement (SAM) on Monday alleged the Raj Bhavan of depriving APST candidates in job recruitment and Reiterating its demand for termination of illegal appointment.

Addressing media persons at APC, SAM’s general secretary Tami Pangu informed that, there has been several appointment and various appointments made has been done violating the existing Recruitment Rules 2017.

The future of the APST educated youths of the state as the maximum appointments within Raj Bhavan are non-APST candidates, he added.

Stating, Bhavan has appointment various secretariat staff posts and other by means of nepotism, Tami said, even the criteria for 80:20 ratio in the recruitment process has not been implemented in the bhawan.

“Since the appointment of incumbent Governor BD Mishra, around 20 – 25 staff were appointed in the bhavan out of which APST staff is very less. alleged Tami.

The SAM further accused superseding the recruitment rule, whereas he has the discretion for appointment of staffers in household establishment but intentionally overtook it in secretariat establishment too.

Earlier, SAM demanded for immediate termination of three illegal appointments made in the governor’s secretariat in the state including assistant protocol officer, institution of high-level enquiry committee headed by not less than a sitting judge of high court and suspension of officers of the governor’s secretariat involved in irregularities.
