ITANAGAR, Reacting to the Arunachal Pradesh Paralympic Association (APPA) allegations for obtaining registration of society using fraudulent means, Paralympic Association of Arunachal (PAA) claims that there is no iota of truth in the allegation. PAA is a registered NGO and affiliated to PCI and SAA.
PAA President Nabam James said, PAA has been registered bearing SI. No. SR/ITA/6032 dated 24/10/2019 under section 3 of the Society Registration Act 1860 after proper scrutinizing and verification by the concern authority.
As the APPA alleged for submission of false and out of jurisdiction police verification for registration purposes, PAA further clarified that they have obtained the same with proper filing of application in good faith and never concealed name and address.
“During police verification, the report name, present address and permanent address was given,” said Nabam.
I have been appointed by the government and being a government after doing all my official work I share my time and energy for the organisation and nothing is wrong and there is no such provision that I cannot extend my services to sports organizations. Said Nabam.
Those who are alleging against us should have verified themselves before making allegation against others, even someone has made complain against me to the Chief Secretary is nothing but a futile frustration against the achievement of the organisation, however I am a government and carrying out my government duty with utmost sincerity and dedication with full satisfaction of my superiors and I never mix my duty with organisation. Said Nabam.
PAA is a registered sports organisation of state and has been affiliated with Sports Authority of Arunachal (SAA) and PCI at national level and accordingly our players have participated in several national level competitions and recent one at Orissa where they performed well but could not get medals.
