One person died on the spot in Boginadi PS area, while the driver and PSO of SP Ziro stated to be stable

ITANAGAR, Reportedly one person died on spot in a road accident in Boginadi area of North Lakhimpur district of Assam in morning hours on Sunday in which the vehicle of Lower Subansiri district is allegedly involved. Informed a source.

As per information and a video circulating round the social media said that one person has been died on spot who was on cycle on being hit by the Vehicle of Lower Subansiri SP under Boginadi police station of North Lakhimpur district in morning hours. The vehicle was on its way to receive the SP from Mohanbari airport in Dibrugarh. The details of the person who died are yet to be known by this daily.

As per information, the vehicle hit the cyclist and fell on the roadside, the driver and the PSO of the SP Ziro was injured in the incident. The PSO was however rescued by Bamang Tago and brought for medical attention and taken to TRIHMS and later shifted to RKM Hospital, Itanagar. The sources said.

Later the driver of the ill fated vehicle was also rescued by the Assam police and is also under medical treatment in the capital. The sources said. Both the PSO and driver are stable till late night as a senior police officer informed. 

The vehicle involved in the accident has been seized by the Assam police. The sources added.

A senior police officer has lauded and thanked the service by Bamang Tago in helping the Arunachalee outside the state.
