ITANAGAR, Sep 15 : The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) spokesperson Nabam Vivek and youth leader on Thursday donated 10 pairs of benches and desks to Government Primary School Midpu II in Doimukh circle which were facing acute shortage of the same.
As a local of Midpu area, Nabam was visiting the school and interacted with the managing committee and teachers of the school. He also contributed a sum of Rs. 20.000 for renovation work of the school.
Nabam informed that “Development of the school has been my priority, for which I will try to lend all possible help to the said school being a local of the area,”
Stressing on ensuring quality education to the students, he advised teachers to impart education with dedication so that students get maximum benefits.
After observing the dilapidated condition of toilets, ceiling and walls of the school, he also assured to provide assistance as per the requirement of the school.
