ITANAGAR, MAY 19 : The local residents of Poma village of Sangdupota circle on Friday has urged upon the Papum Pare police to take necessary action against the person responsible for attacking a local of Poma village recently.
The local allege that the locals of the area are attacked by allegedly Tagru Punong of no faults and the action are initiated either by police or administration and issues are resolved after lots of persuasion of local leaders and PRI leaders.
The recent incident takes place issue related to dumping of soil on the roadside near the camp office at Poma wherein one Techi Chokum has been physically assaulted with lethal weapon and was hospitalized, after submission of FIR and registration of case at Cae at Balijan Police station vide case no- 09/23 u/s-324, 25 of Arms Act no one was arrested and no concrete action was initiated by police and is a matter of great concern.
The matter come up with regards to establishment of camp office of road construction company of Gopur Tinali-Jote road ( State highway no-1) at Poma by filling with soil and other works which was not done by the company and other issue so the locals has allege that if the issue and commitment and agreement as agreed upon earlier is not fulfilled the camp office may be sealed by the locals to press their agreed upon earlier. The locals said.
However a local leaders inform this daily the alleged accuse Tagru Punong has obtain bail before action by Balijan Police but we will not succumbed to such action meted toward the local for pity matters.
The locals has threatened that the road construction company should immediately resolved the issue or else democratic movement will be launched.
