ITANAGAR, MARCH 15 : Health & Family Welfare Minister Alo Libang on Tuesday in reply to the question of Itanagar MLA Techi Kaso with regards to construction of a 200 bedded hospital said that the DPR and soil testing has been completed.
The Health Minister said that as per available records in the department there has been a proposal for establishment of a 200 bedded hospital under RK Mission Hospital, Itanagar with an estimated cost of 9000 lakhs. As of now the DPR has been prepared and the soil testing has been done. he said.
A sum of Rs. 200 lakhs (2020-21) has been given and the project is under progress. He said.
The expenditure incurred during 2020-21 Rs. 200 lakhs and expected to incur expenditure of Rs. 400 lakhs during 2021-22.
The Itanagar local MLA Techi Kaso has raised the issue of construction of a 200 bedded hospital in the city and wanted the update on the issue on the floor of the house during the question hours.
