JD(U) Arunachal unit staged protest at Jantar Mantar on various burning issue, send memo to President and PM of India.

Manoj Singh || NEW DELHI: The Janta Dal (united) Arunachal Pradesh state unit on Wednesday staged massive protest and dharna at Jantar Mantar on various burning issue and problems being confronted by people of state.

The democratic movement was led by JD(U) state unit general secretary Riba Pangia Dolo and Vice President Kame Kipa and Yuva president KIpa Talling and team. The dharna which began in morning at Jantar Mantar was supported by the Delhi Pradesh unit and others which was attended by various JD(U) state and national leaders including three MP of Rajya Sabha which include Kiru Mahato, MP, Anil Hegde, MP, Ram Nath Thakur, MP, JD(U) national general secretary, MLC Bihar and Incharge North East Afaque Ahmed Khan, Delhi JD(U) state President Salider Kumar and others.

The JDU top leader address the gathering and assured to take up the burning issue of North Easter states and Arunachal Pradesh in particular. They also reaffirm themselves for the greater cause of the development, unity and integrity for all round development of region and the frontier state of Arunachal Pradesh in particular.      

Speaking to media, Arunachal Pradesh JD(U) general secretary Riba Pangi Dolo said that there are various burning issue in state and the people of state are suffering. The state government is just only taking up this issue casually and not very serious. The APUAPA is being misused for their political gain and to shut the popular voice of the people against the government. he said.

We cannot be a mute expectations of the state of affairs in Arunachal Pradesh. Today dharna and protest is the first phase and it will go along way and the state government have to come up with a logical conclusion until our democratic movement will continue an even it may change the mindset of the people of state as voice against the government is coming up form all corner in regards to APPSC paper leakage fascia and others. He said.

We are here and have meet our national leader at JD(U) headquarter and have apprise of the our genuine demand and about the various burning issue confronting by the people of state of months, years and decades. He Said.

We are submitting a memorandum to the President of India and Prime Minister of India which would be handed over by the national leaders of the party. Added JD(U) general secretary

It is to mention that the memorandum submitted to the national JD(U) leader which include amendment of Article 371 (H) and placing giving Arunachal the constitutional status at par with the states of Nagaland Article 371 (A)and Mizoram Article 371 (G), The Bengal Eastern Frontier Regulation 1873 (BEFR) should be given the full-fledged status of a Parliamentary Act from the British made Regulation, Right to freedom of religion under Article 25 of the Indian Constituency and Tawang church issue, revisit to  controversial Arunachal Pradesh Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (APUAPA), immediate constitution of New Members of APPSC, make public progress on CBI Investigation into APPSC Scam and Tumi Gangkak’s mysterious death case:
