KHONSA, Dec 12: Hento Karga has become the new Deputy Commissioner of Tirap district, replacing the incumbent DC Taro Mize, who was accorded a warm send-off by the district administration here today.
In a farewell programme hosted for the outgoing DC at the DC conference hall, the DA also welcomed the newly posted DC Hento Karga and ADC Deomali Vishakha Yadav.
In his speech, Mize said that he was fortunate enough to work with the people of Tirap and found them peace loving, obedient and disciplined. The outgoing DC extended thanks to all HoDs, law enforcing bodies viz Tirap police, Assam Rifles & CRPF and all ministerial staff for their cooperation.
While bidding farewell to Mize, the new DC said that he is happy joining ‘Team Tirap’ and sought cooperation from all HoDs and ministerial staff to take the district towards the path of development.
In her speech, Yadav (ADC Deomali) extended her hearty welcome to the new DC, Hento Karga and best wishes to the outgoing DC Taro Mize.
