Gang of fake sadhus from West Bengal arrested in Arunachala’s Bomdila 

Bomdila, Sep 17: Arunachal Pradesh police have arrested a gang of fake sadhus who duped a person to the huge money in the name of building an ashram somewhere in West Bengal. 

In a release Bomdila police said, on 7th September 2022 a group of Fake sadhu baba was found collecting money from the public of Bomdila alluring them in the name of building an ashram somewhere in West Bengal. 

On suspicion and verification it is found that no such temple or ashram is undergoing construction there. 

They have visited different places of Arunachal Pradesh like Itanagar, Naharlagun, Pasighat, Aalo, Basar, Daporijo, Seppa and collected huge money deceiving innocent people since last three to four years. 

Good cash, mobiles,  and other fake documents recovered from their possession. A case vide Bomdila PS case no 21/22 u/s 120(b)/420/34 IPC registered and they were arrested and produced before CJM, Bomdila. The release said. 

Further the Bomdila police appealed to the public to avoid such ventures in Bomdila and said, “KAAM KARKE KHAO!!!”
