Former NPP (state unit) Vice President Karto Kaye joins BJP

ITANAGAR, Karto Kaye, a prominent leader of Nari Koyu constituency and former Vice president of State NPP unit, today joined the Bharatiya Janata Party at the BJP Headquarter Itanagar here.

He joined the BJP in the presence of several high level leaders of state BJP, who gave him a warm welcome.
East Arunachal MP Tapir Gao, State BJP president and MLA Biyuram Wahge, BJP General Secretary and MLA Zingnu Namchoom, and other MLAs Laisam Simai, Jikke Tako, Kento Rina were present on the occasion and accorded a warm welcome to the BJP joined Karto Kaye.

The state BJP chief Biyuram Wahge said that today was a special day for the state BJP and day by day the party was gaining in strength with various senior leaders from different parties joining it.

“Karto Kaye is a very senior political leader from the Nari Koyu constituency, I have known him from the very beginning. I hope he always works for public development and always maintains the party’s ideology.” Wahge said.
Later, he appealed to the local MLA of Nari Koyu, Kento Rina to jointly work with Karto Kaye in his constituency for development activities and work hard to strengthen the party from the grassroots level.

While speaking to newspersons, Karto Kaye said that he was very happy today to join the world’s largest party, the Bharatiya Janata party.

“I was very impressed to see our state being developed under the leadership of Chief Minister Pema Khandu, vis better road connectivity, road communication to all the parts of district, air connectivity, four lane highway, newly constructed MLA apartments and development activities of other sectors. I am also very impressed by the works of Indian Prime minister Narendra Modi, his dedication to work for development. So, today I have assured all my well wishers and my supporters that I will always work for development activities and work hard jointly with our local MLA to strengthen my local areas and my constituency,” he added.
