CHANGLANG, Aug 10: Tesam Pongte, Deputy Speaker on Tuesday handed release certificates to the inmates of de-addiction camp under Nasha Mukte Abhiyan.
The inmates are from Phangtip and Hatongchu villages which have been declared as the 2nd Nasha Mukhte village after Kengkhu village.
“I appreciate and congratulate you all for undergoing the de-addiction camp and wanting to come back to mainstream society to live a pure and realistic life”, said the local MLA.
MLA Pongte also appreciated the district administration, police and Health departments for their successful effort in conducting the Nasha Mukh Abhiyan camp with the cooperation of Hatongchu Development Society and Phangtip Committee Members.
“I do hope such work will continue in days to come for the welfare and development of common people in any activities, ” he said.
