CM ask to engage consultant to created tourism infrastructure at Sangam point of Kurung and Kumey river in Gangte circle

The  Chief Minister Pema Khandu in his two days visit in Kra Daadi district has visited the sangam point (confluence) of Kurung and Kumey river near Gangte in Gangte circle alongwith home and Border affairs Minister Bamanag Felix  MLA CZ Namchoom  Jikke Tako, Balo Raja and other Hods of various  department of district.
Speaking at a public function  at Gangte circle  headquarter CM Khandu said that the state is having a vast potential in all spheres of life. Connectiviaty which was a major challenge and a hurdles in progress and challenge of state is improving in many fold.
Today I visited the confluence of river Kurung and Kumey river and find that this place may become a hot tourist destination if the area is developed. Local tourist and tourist from state and others may viat as the spot having vast potential to develop will attract huge tourist. Said Khandu.
I have requested the local MLA Balo Raja and Kra Daadi district administration to d

engage consultation and find out what we can do to develop the spot a tourist destination. A detail of DPR may be submitted so that a decision may be taken by state government.  He said.
The  Subansiri Lower hydro power project by  NHPC is in full progress and soon be commission amd once power generation is full pledge is done the are will see a huge tourist turnout and several economic activities will began as well self employment will also increased. Added CM Khandu.
