Capital Police recovered stolen items and apprehended two juveniles

Naharlagun, August 19: The capital police have recovered stolen items and apprehended two juveniles from Itanagar. 

The capital police informed on a release, On 24-06-2022 a case was registered vide ITA/PS/Case No. 156/2022 U/S 380 IPC on receipt of written FIR of stolen mobile Handset Redmi10 from HIM GUEST HOUSE,BANK TINALI, ITANAGAR.

During the investigation, a police team led by SI Tacha under the close supervision of SP Capital Jimmy Chiram, IPS, and SDPO Itanager Kamdam Sikom, found that the same stolen mobile phone was advertised for selling at Rs. 6,200/- in OLX from one fake account holder named Andy. Later, he was identified and several raids were conducted in his probable place to apprehend him but he was evading police arrest. The release said. 

After a few days of rigorous efforts, he was apprehended along with his co-accused from Nyokum Lapang, Itanager. Both the alleged accused were juvenile and habitual offenders. As per the revelation of apprehended accused, police team had recovered 20 nos Domestic Gas Cylinder, 09 nos stolen mobile handset and 01 Scooty Ray Z without No. Plate, colour (Blue& Black), Chassis No. MA1SED174H001330 and Engine No. EBY4E0031004 and 01 Motorcycle Hero Glamour without no plate Colour (Blue & Black), Chassis No. MBLJR027HGD17593 and Engine No. JA06ERHG024649  from their possession. The release said. 

Both the juveniles have been sent to Juvenile Home Pasighat and legal actions are going on against 18 receivers of stolen property and soon chargesheet will be submitted against them. The release said.
