Naharlagun, June 02: On Tuesday sudden raid was conducted on different locations by a Police team led by SDPO Nlg Dekio Gumja with OC Nlg Insp Khiksi Yangpho, SI SS Jha ,SI Giogi Tape , HC Iter Ngomdir and Nlg Ps ready party.
The team was arrested two drug pedler from different places, one from Damsite Naharlagun and another one from Sood village Naharlagun.
Shri Lokam Lulu was arrested from his residence at Damsite. From his possession one country made sophisticated automated Pistol with 7 (seven) live round of 7.32 calibre without license, 31.520 Gm of suspected heroine, cash 51500(Rupees Fifty one thousand five hundred) recovered and seized in presence of Magistrate. Subsequently a case has been registered vide Nlg Ps case no.92/2021 U/S 21(b)NDPS Act and 25(1-B)(a) arms act. Informed by officials.
At Sood village one shri Techi Joshon was arrested and from his possession 53.930gm of suspected heroine, rs 40000(Rupees Forty thousand) cash recovered and seized in presence of Magistrates EAC M.Perme.Three addicted were also detain who were suspected to be customer of the Techi Joshon. Another Case has been registered vide Nlg PS case no.91/2021 U/S 21(b) /27(a)NDPS Act. Informed by officials.
CapPol is fighting against drug peddlers in this tough time of lockdown . Few days back , one shri Joseph Kino was also arrested from Naharlagun E sect with huge suspected heroine and cash. Recently joined SDPO Dekio Gumja had continued crackdown on drug peddlers to eradicate the manace.
