ITANAGAR, MAY 14: The capital po0lice has appealed to all sections of society to obey the full containment order and other orders issued by the capital administration and state government and also by the health department which are issued keeping the public health services.
Today the Capital Deputy Commissioner Talo Potom, SP Jimmy Chiram visited few checknakas and checkpoints of the city and motivated the police personnel deployed and directed them to maintain discipline and also maintain the full containment (lockdown) order in later and spirit.
Later a team led by Itanagar SDPO Kamdam Sikom carried out a foot march from 0 Point Tinali to Chimpu and continued checking all the way and warned all those who were found loitering without any genuine works . Sikom also suggested various ways and means to remain at home during such lockdowns. He emphasizes to remain at home to remain unaffected and uninfected by deadly coronavirus infection.
SDPO further appeals to all sections of society to remain at home if there is no emergency or urgent work in the greater interest of the health services of the people.
He further said that the capital police has already started taking legal action against the lockdown violation and several fines have been realized and few of them have been arrested and few cases have also been registered against them.
