ITANAGAR, JULY 29 ; The Apatani Student Union (ASU) has conducted a peaceful dharna in front of the Deputy commissioner office, Lower Subansiri district, Ziro against the selection procedure and other charter of demand placed before the district administration.
Sources informed that the protest was carried out against the interview of the DDSE cum DPO, Samagra Shiksha IISSE Lower Subansiri district Arunachal Pradesh which was held at DC office. The ASU was against the selection procedure of the authority as the posts are purely district quota.
Meanwhile, Apatani Student Union (ASU) has put forward three points of charter of demand to the district administration which include equal opportunity for all the qualified aspirants candidates of Lower Subansiri district. Reconsideration of the selected and rejected list of TGT & PRT post vide advertisement NO.ED/LS/ISSE/interview-1/2020/584 dated 30th June 2021. Immediate cancellation of Non- APST candidates.
Source informed that a meeting was held with the protesters with the Deputy commissioner and the interview has been postponed till further order.
