ITANAGAR, AUGUST 17 : The All Nyishi Students Union (ANSU) delegation led by President Nabam Dodum and General Secretary Gora Rikam Bhai today meet the Chief Minister Pema Khandu at his office at AP Civil Sectt and discuss various issue related to Education departments and improvement of education scenario of state.
ANSU president Nabam Dodum while welcoming the state government declaration ” Year 2021 as year of Education and Mission Siksha” said that it was a welcome step. Today it was a good meeting with Chief Minister and we remind the CM of our recent media briefing and 15 point charter of demand submitted to state government regarding upgradation of Education scenario and upgradation of Education sector of state. Our team since day one has been focusing on various important issues of the Education department for its up gradation and improvement of the Education sector of state. Dodum said.
Our important demand we have been focusing which include immediate cancellation of tender for procurement and supply of school uniform by Director of secondary education, corpus fund for teachers welfare for every school’s of state including Nyishi inhabitant area, to carryout curriculum activities, immediate recruitment of TGT/PGT teachers against sanctioned vacant post, revocation of DBT system or create a better than DBT system as the system is not working properly across the state and far flung and interior areas, introduction of uniformity of school fees for various private school fees and check the standard to impart quality education and fees structure as per quality of infrastructure and quality of education, establishment or creation of teachers activity center in schools, permanent office building for office of DDDE, Capital complex, proper land demarcation with land allotment in urban area and LPC in rural area to save the land encroachment of educational institution, special package for construction and upgradation schools in seven district of Nyishi inhabitant in view of Late starter in Education sector in compare to other parts of state, closure of all zero enrolment Scholl and proper utilization of infrastructure for better purpose, introduction of Nyishi dress as dress code/uniform in schools of Nyishi dominated districts, immediate regularization of 400 ISSE as per cabinet decision made on Sept 2019 and others Dodum added.
General secretary Gora Rikam Bhai informs that as part of our charter of demand we discuss other important issues like boundary dispute between Arunachal Pradesh and Assam, development and other issues confronting the education department and society.
We will always be supporting in regards to development of education and improvement and upgradation of education scenario of state and will extend support for such move. Rikam said.
CM also patiently listened to our views and suggestions and requested the team ANSU to monitor the performances of the school and extend support. He also sought cooperation of the apex students body of Nyishi community in combating drug menace. Rikam added.
