YUPIA, FEB 16 : The Arunachal Pradesh legislative Assembly Speaker PD Sona on Wednesday along with several others officers and Papum Pare district administration has inspected the work progress and preparation for golden jubilee celebration at outdoor stadium here and interacted with all the line department and gives necessary direction to the officers and Nodal officers engaged in the preparation work.
Sona was accompanied by Commissioner to CM Sonam Chombey, Secretary General Administration S. Deori, DC Papum Pare Minga Sherpa, SP Papum Pare (Rural) Dr Neelam Nega and all HODs of Yupia district headquarter.
The preparation is in full progress and all line department officers have been engaged and senior officers of the state government are working round the clock for the golden jubilee celebration at Yupia on February 20.
Several celebrities and artists from various parts of the country including from Mumbai are expected to perform their numbers.
As per information students of various schools and colleges are also taking part on the day.
The Papum Pare district administration has issued a traffic advisory for diversion of all traffic coming from various parts of state through Trans Arunachal Highway (TAH) from Sagalee and Yazali to take Doimukh-Nirjuli and Naharlagun route. While the vehicle of government and private residing in the vicinity of district headquarter has to obtain security/vehicle permit.
Sources inform that the Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma is also invited to the statehood celebration of state.
Sources also inform that an expected gathering of around Ten thousand including invitee guests will be taking part in the day long celebration at the newly constructed biggest outdoor stadium of state at Yupia.
