AKDDSU deferred the 24 hours Kra-Daadi district bandh

ITANAGAR, The All Kra-Daadi District Students Union (AKDDSU) have deferred the 24 hours Kra-Daadi district bandh, which was proposed on December 9 next following a written assurance by Home Minister Bamang Felix to address the issues.

Speaking to the reporters, AKDDSU President Pakyum Talop said that the decision to defer the bandh call was decided in a meeting with the central executive members of the union. However, he cleared that the union has just postponed the bandh call and not ‘called off’.  He said the union received a letter from the office of Home Minister for a meeting to discuss the demands.

Accordingly, the meeting is scheduled on December 22 next at State Civil Secretariat, and we hope for the positive outcome.  “If the demands of the union are not met during the meeting, the union will resume the movement in the district, to which the updates will be disclosed later after the meeting and meeting of union members,” he added.
