ITANAGAR, Jul 04 : The Arunachal Christian Forum (ACP) has decided to hold mass discussion on the Tawang Church issue and matter related to it with the entire district unit Christian forum on 16 July next.
Addressing the media person here at APC, vice president ACF James Techi informed that to fulfil the demand of ACF, a mega consultative meeting and a mass discussion is much required to take up next steps on Tawang church construction issue.
As stated by CM Pema Khandu recently that he is optimistic towards the Tawang church issue to solve amicably, ACF also said they also wanted to solve the same as soon as possible, so that the issue does not go further and the case is resolved, said Techi.
Proclaiming, that the three member committee’s report submitted to the ACF does not contain signatures, ACF demanded the state government to provide them with the full report of the committee so that we can understand and also know the report of the committee.
ACF further appealed to the DC Tawang, not to evict the church till the matter is not solved.
