All Arunachal Pradesh Arm-Wrestling Association (AAPAWA) embarks on a journey to participate in the 45th National Arm-Wrestling Championship, a significant event slated to commence from May 22nd to May 26th, 2023 at SKISC Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir. The enthusiastic team, led by President Smt. Pakjar Taipodia, commenced their voyage from NLG railway station on May 18th, 2023.
Comprising a total of 45 delegates hailing from Arunachal Pradesh, these individuals were carefully chosen from the 23rd Open State Level Arm Wrestling Championship, which took place in Basar in February 2023. Additionally, the team includes two officials who will assist and guide the participants throughout this grand competition.
Preparation for the momentous championship has been arduous and comprehensive. The athletes underwent an intense week of training in the state capital, skillfully overseen by the President cum Coach Smt. Pakjar Taipodia. The team’s dedication, discipline, and resilience have been remarkable as they honed their strength and power in order to compete against formidable arm wrestlers from every corner of the country.
