ITANAGAR, NOV 20 : Three new district election officer notified for Pakke Kessang Kamle and Leparada and after the notification of the tree new DEO the state is now having 25 DEO and all the election related activities will be held in respective district election office where the Deputy commissioner concern will act as DEO.
The Joint Chief election officer (JCEO) Liken Koyu inform the media “that As per special summery regions and the last date of submission is December 9 and the disposal of claims and objection will be held by December 26th and the final electoral roll will be published on January 5th 2024. Since the simultaneous election is scheduled to be held in 2024 so it would be better if anyone ethos who want some service may contact the respectively BEO, AERO, ERO and DEO Office concern for their convenience during the election and voting process. All the senior citizen of aged more than 80 years can contact for postal ballot and the person with Disabilities can avail the facilities. As of now PWD 4576 persons and 9547 has been earmarked. He said.
Anyone interest voters want for transfer, correction inclusion and deletion can be done at all nearest electoral registration officer (ERO) or respective booth level officer for the purpose in form 6, 7 and 8 respectively. All illegible electorate who has attained to the age of 18 years may also enroll themselves with necessary documents either through hard copy or online. He said
Total Poling station was 2220 in last election and 6 polling stations has been increased 1 at 46 Choukham A/c, 1 at 47 Namsai A/C and 4 polling station in 50 Miao A/C and the total polling station in state is 2226
As per draft publication 856187 with male 420954 and 435228 female and 5 third gender as per guidelines of Election commission of India. This year PWD 4576 persons and 9547 has been earmarked with 5744 service electors for arm forces personnel’s and the gender ration is 1034. He said.
Anyone those who are willing to connect or link their Adhar card no and also the existing voters can avail the facility. the new voters specially the youths those who attained the 18 year of age have to bring Adhar docent. As of now 500614 and it is 60.2 % have their adhar link. He added.
